Job description
We are a dynamic company based in Dortmund, and we're looking for a motivated team member to bring energy, strong writing skills and a basic technical understanding to our sales team. With us, you'll learn the sales trade from the ground up and gain valuable experience for your future career.
Your responsibilities:
Acquiring new customers (cold outreach by email):
You research potential customers and reach out to them with targeted emails. With well-written, personalized messages, you get them excited about our services and open the door to new business relationships.
Upselling & account management:
You look after existing customers, spot new potential and advise them on additional offers and upgrades that fit their needs.
Supporting the sales team:
You support our experienced sales reps in their day-to-day work – from preparing and following up on customer meetings to maintaining the CRM and creating quotes.
Your profile
Relevant degree program:
You are currently enrolled at a university or university of applied sciences, ideally in a business-related program (e.g. business administration, economics, management) or an IT-related program (e.g. business informatics, computer science) – or a comparable field.
Passion for IT:
You have a genuine interest in IT topics, new technologies and digital trends. You find it easy to get to grips with services that need explaining.
Communication & writing skills:
You write with confidence and style, enjoy crafting persuasive emails and have an excellent command of German, both written and spoken.
Sales mindset:
You are goal-oriented, enjoy winning customers over and don't get discouraged by a rejection or an unanswered email.
Working style: You are reliable, structured and a true team player.
What we offer
Real hands-on experience:
This is no coffee-making job! You take on responsibility from day one and learn how modern digital sales really works in the IT world.
Flexible working hours:
We know your studies come first. We'll flexibly align your working hours (15–20 hrs/week, and more during semester breaks if you like) with your lecture schedule.
Strong feedback culture:
By working closely with experienced sales professionals, you'll quickly develop your communication and sales skills.
Pleasant working atmosphere:
A friendly team, short communication channels and a modern workplace in the heart of Dortmund.
